I made this stop motion video a few years ago with a scrabble board and pieces. I took a ready made song and then animated the lyrics of the song using the pieces. I also tried out a few interesting patterns and movements with the pieces.

I would love to make a lyric/music video for a band or song, but it would need to be really clever and simple because it would take days of stop motion and thousands of frames. Here is one of my favourite stop motion animated music videos: Hudson and Troop – Against the Grain.
